Easy like.. Saturday morning!?

Hello friends!

We haven't forgotten about you, we've just been furry, furry busy. Today Mom was finally home for something else than dinner and sleeping, so we got to go outside in the SUN!


Two more weeks of craziness and then things will slowly start to go back to normal (and that's technically "normal" since Camp WriggleButts is a crazy place to start with).

Mom let me come along in the boat for the first time when we were up by t he lake! I wasn't scared, really, but it was a lot of new stuff to watch. I was quite fascinated by the splashing water aft.

PA prefer to steer the boat standing up, so I can have the captain's chair. ;)

Most of the time I relaxed in Mom's lap. Bajas did, too, so it was a bit cramped. Here you can see he's got a bit more sense and stayed on the floor. Hehehe...

Virus with a virus?

Would you all please send some healing vibes to my little brudder? He seems to have a bit of a cold or something and has gooey stuff running from his eyes and a stuffy nose. Mom says it shouldn't be anything serious but Mom is working nights. It's never fun leaving us, and especially not when we're not feeling well.

This was taken yesterday, so it's come pretty fast. Here you can see straight into his leetle nose. That's the way we like it, please!

Oh - and CONGRATULATION to all Americans with your new president. Bajas and I are, obviously, especially proud as he's black - like us! It's our very favourite colour! Mom seemed very happy. I suppose most foreigners are. Allthough Mom said something about many being a bit naive and expecting all to be cozy from now on. He won't just be the world's nice big brother. But it sure will be an improvement, and definately the best choice for foreign politics!

Vet visit!

Hi guys!

We're back home from the Vet's! Virus did really well! First he got to take a ride in his new crate.Can you see him in there? :D

I took him for a little walk outside the Vet's first!


We had to wait a little while, but he was real tough and just sat in Mom's lap most of the time while I jumped up and down with excitement. We met a 4month old long haired Vorsteh puppy and a Kooiker and some longhaired cat.. and a black/silver Miniature Schnauzer and an Airedale! Pretty good value for money in my opinion!

Virus got his check-up first and bled a little from where the needle punctured his skin when getting his vaccine, but he didn't make a noise. Then he got to cuddle with the vet tech while I got to be ON THE TABLE! Wohoo! I just love the vet! I got LOTS of treats and cuddles and then we went back home. Virus is asleep tired from all the new impressions and I'm a bit tired myself after all the excitement!

He's also clapping for the fact that he's getting fluffier and curlier!

We also clap our hand for the wonderful people helping people in need! One of our fellow WW'ers - Whippet World members that is - is offering shelter to someone in need!

If you evacuate and have a travel trailer or motor home we can
accomodate a few of you-all - we can let you use a 15 amp
elect hook-up and water - we have room for a lot more but
electricity would be a problem - we could accomodate many more
but you would have to be self contained - the storm is predicted
to be through here in NE oklahoma sometime sunday thru monday-
if it goes on the projected path we could receive somewhere around
4 to 6 inches of rain - our place is on the highest hill in creek county
so no worries of flooding here - its just going to be wet and maybe
a little breezy - temps will be rather nice thru monday - we have
about 3 tree covered acres that is usable - after clearing Houston
it is about an 8 hour drive here - remember you will most likely
be gone for awhile -

Tired Thursday

Ok.. so we're being very slow lately.. Seems Mom can only do so much at once.. Humans.. Anyways the good news are that the car is back home and all well. Mom will have to clean it up and take some pictures so she can post it for sale..

Last Saturday Mom went to meet up with Lene, Virus' breeder, and another friend at a C A T show a couple of hours south of us. With the car not working she had to take bus - train - bus each way, but Mom like to travel. And so do I. Still I did not get to come along.. Bah..

At the show Lene bought Virus a catnip pillow - here you see a couple of videos of him with it. As you can see I'm not overly impressed with the thing. And it left white fluff all over Virus and the floor. BOL.. Mom got some nice vacuuming out of that thing.. But not as much as when I get into the cat litter.. Tee hee..

So.. Here's another post with plenty of Virus pictures.. I assure you I won't let his tiny, fluffy butt take my place around here, but he's been our main source of entertainment today!

He's pretty cute when he's sleeping, huh? To those of you who think he's got no furs that's not really true. He's got a very short, but super soft coat that's sort of like supersoft suede.



He's a pretty agile little guy.. Mom say I chased my tail when I was a puppy.. but that perhaps I'd have some trouble getting it these days.. Blah blah..And he likes his tiny stuffies. I can respect that. Even if he's a bit more recless with them than I would have been. He also attack my stuffies, but I think he's to small to do them any harm.
He also seems to get some entertainment out of this thing..
I also have a feeling that he's stalking me sometimes...


Oh well... I'm sure he'll come talk to me soon!

Pee Ess: I got a comment about no dog treats in the humans purses.. I beg to differ.. I concider chewing gum a treat and will steal them if I'm able to. The only other thing I wil steal are ballpoint pens. I have no explanation for them.. they crunch very nice in my teeth.. Uh..

When Virus arrived..

Ok.. We're still testing the name thing, but for now he's usually refered to as Virus. If we use a name.He was of course a bit scared when he arrived.. All alone with a weirdo like me (and Mom) for the first time! I think he thinks my snoring and snorting is very scary... :(

He had a big crate with bed, toilet, food etc, but he wanted to go outside quite fast and after the above exploring he fell asleep in Mom's lap. I stayed on the floor. Mom said I was a really, really good big brudder! I kept my distance so he could settle in peace.
Then he did more exploring!

And he got to play a little too! When playing with that feather-thingy he could go really close to me, because it was apparently sooo much fun! Weird.. After a while he slept on Mom's lap and I slept on the couch next to her.. But he got a bit concerned when I got up and snorted a little.. But we're getting there!

AllAlone Mom

Hi guys!

This week is and has been a very busy week with back to school stuff and work so I've dropped Bajas off with a friend of ours and there's not too much fun stuff going on here. I miss him, it's so empty around here. But I'm pretty sure he's having a good time with someone with more time than me right now. Can't wait to pick him up on Sunday, and then there's just a few days until a certain little kitty arrives. So here's a few pictures I just got of him - to enjoy (or to drool over if you're a certain pack of whippies!)

...our very favourite blogging cat Daisy! Of course she had an advantage as she's a Devon Rex Cat herself! So - as you've now probably realised our new addition is a male Devon Rex Cat! A weird, curly little thing. He'll be arriving in just over one week. We're really excited!

So - do you want to see him? Properly, that is? Not just an ear and some forehead wrinkles?

Okay, we're proud to introduce Virus!

Actually his name is (N)Mega Miaow's Rydiger, but Rydiger is a bit long and Mom have always said that when she got a Devon his name would be Virus. Right now she's a bit uncertain, though, as we've gotten so used to think about him as Rydiger.

This is a bit more recent picture of him!

This is Justa (EC Talamasca's Just A Girl) his mother - she's a black smoke Devon Rex just like her son.

His breeder is a friend of ours and he'll belong to her on paper until he's fathered a litter, a very common solution for breeders who would like more breeding cats(or dogs) but not have too many at home. We can't wait for him to arrive next Thursday! We can assure you there'll be more pictures shortly after that! BOL!
