Oh Great Alpaca!?

In Norway we have an expression that can be translated to something like "Oh great alpaca!" which is used to show surprise or shock.

So who live further up our street?

Sneaky weekend.

Mom's been a real bore this weekend. All "I've got to go to work"... So we've had to provide most of the entertainment ourselves...

Thank you, Sweden!

Ok... so mom went shopping on Sunday, remember? Well.. It's mostly grocery shopping (meat, for instance, is cheaper there), but she also tend to get our kibble there. It used to be much cheaper, but Auntie noticed the kitty kibble was much more expensive this time. Mom didn't buy any, because they only had the tiny 2kg bags of kitten food and that's not worth buying, really.. I have 15kilos from her last trip, so I didn't get any either. (Unfair, huh?)

BUT.. She did bring us something!

These are little cat toys with chords in their tummies attached to a ring sticking out of their butts. When you pull the string out the toy vibrates. Well.. Mom and I have not seen these as ducks or snails before, but I used to LOVE this sort of toys as a puppy - just that they used to be hamsters - and I would pull and pull the string holding the toy in my paws. (Don't worry, Girl Girl, I won't try pulling strings out of your butt! I promise!) So mom got a couple of these - as they were cute as well, if not as round and easy to hold as the hammie ones I had as a pup..

So - here's me pulling the string! The video is pretty lousy, as I insisted to only do so if Mom would hold it and I could stand on her lap...

Mom (and Auntie and Grandpa) is heading to Sweden today for some across-the-border shopping. I hope she's getting me something tasty! I'm having sweet dreams trying to wave her so she don't forget!

Tired Thursday

Ok.. so we're being very slow lately.. Seems Mom can only do so much at once.. Humans.. Anyways the good news are that the car is back home and all well. Mom will have to clean it up and take some pictures so she can post it for sale..

Last Saturday Mom went to meet up with Lene, Virus' breeder, and another friend at a C A T show a couple of hours south of us. With the car not working she had to take bus - train - bus each way, but Mom like to travel. And so do I. Still I did not get to come along.. Bah..

At the show Lene bought Virus a catnip pillow - here you see a couple of videos of him with it. As you can see I'm not overly impressed with the thing. And it left white fluff all over Virus and the floor. BOL.. Mom got some nice vacuuming out of that thing.. But not as much as when I get into the cat litter.. Tee hee..

Last night Mom ate watermelon and we have this great deal! First she eat her part out of the wedge with a spoon, and then I get the rest!

Sunny days - sunnyseeds!

Mom brought home some sunnyseeds the other day! She make some sort of oatmeal-thingy in the morning with sunflowerseeds, flaxseeds and stuff in. Anyways... I love sunnyseeds!See - a few yummy seeds for mommy and me!

Can I have some? Pleeeeeeease?

So she shared with me! She said she didn't want any more, since her fingers were full of my slobber.. Can you imagine? Then she said she'd go tidy up the messy, messy floor instead of handfeeding me sunflowerseeds. My mom is a really lousy servant.. Sigh.. (To give you an idea about how tiny our studio is what you see here is pretty much the entire floor space! That makes it a bit hard to keep tidy. At least for a messy person like my mom.)

Bambam

This is my beloved stuffie, usually referred to as Bambam. All my stuffies are, though, as long as I love them.. Coco sometimes use it to sit or sleep on because it's nice and fluffy and comfortable. I don't like ti much if I want to... uh... wash and meditate with my stuffie. The video might give the impression that I want to hump my Bambam. That's not really the truth, so I've uploded another video taken just afterwards when I take care of Bambam and clean him up nicely after having been used as a bed!
