Our Curling boys' secret weapon...
Wanna know how they did it? They had some very special help:
Um.. Okay.. Maybe not. But mom had so many giggles imagining this that we had to play along.

Speaking of the pants...
Keep your paws crossed for Norway and Canada - we want to see those teams in the final on Saturday. Saturday is Mom's birthday so we hope she gets the dream final as a birthday present. At least Auntie and Mom is planning a fairly early dinner out before going home and watching the bronze final. Mom will watch the final, too, which starts at midnight. She said Auntie could go home if she got sleepy, though. BOL!
I think I'll just share my lucky snores!

Almost Wordless Wednesday
Another wordy part - Hyssing is most impressed with you all and is thinking of going into a mind control business since surprisingly many of you guessed it was a GREEN marker. Let's just say Mom and I have been laughing a lot.
23 February, 2010
Can you guess?
She sometimes accuses me of playing with her marker, but this is even weirder IMO.
So? Did it work? Did it work? Can you guess it?
PeeEss: We just got the very sad news that Chef's papa has been diagnosed with cancer. Will you please stop by and give them your support? They really need it now.

Show us your toothbrush!
So now we encourage you all - show us your toothbrush! BOL!
Oh - and we want to say
HAPPY BIRTHDAY P.A.!
Claire has posted on facebook that all the dogs have been found and are at the SPCA in Montreal for the night. It seems they were left tied up in a park, for which everyone is grateful.

Missing Whippet Puppies (still missing).
We're so happy everyone out there in the blogosphere is working to get the poor puppies home. We have no news about the puppies, but wanted to update with the links to a couple of websites.
This is a website about the puppies with their pictures and a little info. The owner is also offering a reward hoping this will increase the chance of their return (rather than just abandoning them somewhere when they realize everyone is looking for them).
Here's a news article about the case, including a video of the puppies' siblings and owner.
We just feel so awful. Thankfully good people are searching the web for adverts for whippet/greyhound puppies for sale in the area etc... We hope you all keep praying/sending good vibes/purring and sharing to help the little babies come home!

Stolen whippet puppies - Texas
Look at these two little darlings - we need to get them HOME!
Here's what the owner writes:
I'm hoping my girlfriend in Texas can send lots of lucky snorts into the Texas air and make sure evil people return these little babies!
My house was broken into today. 2/17/10. Along with stuff I can replace they stole 2 five week old whippet puppies. Please - Please - PLEASE be on the lookout for any whippet puppies. I live in Conroe, Texas. We are contacting the vets - newspaper - shelters - local news channels - whatever we can think of. I think it was kids because of the sloppy things they took - leaving behind other stuff. It is so cold outside.... they are just babies....Permission to cost post - PLEASE!!!Pictures of the two puppies are attached

Hey Virus - what part of taking picture of me in my new harness is it you don't understand?
Huh? What? You were saying?
Bah.. Bajas is being no fun!
Happy now, boring brother?
Hey Mom? Is this my "Most Patient Brother of Stupid Cat"award?
PeeEss: Someone asked how the curling match went. It went very well! It went into overtime and we didn't expect to win as the Americans had the final stone (generally you have the last stone every other round and you're expected to take points when you have the last stone. It's possible to get points when the other team has the final stone, but this is referred to as "stealing points" which indicates how this is fairly uncommon). However we set up very nice guards and the Americans missed. BOL! Now we all have many matches to play - all 10 teams play each other before final rounds wich makes curling a very fair game. Mom isn't all that interested in sports usually, but curling is like "chess on ice" with lots of strategies and is very exciting to watch. Before the US-NOR match we lost by one point to Canada (also overtime and Canada had the last stone). Mom's ideal final match would be Canada-Norway once again! Right now we're playing Germany and are up by 3 points. So we're all asleep on the couch with our paws crossed tonight!

5) Sweet Lorenza always makes us smile
6) Forever Foster Well, it's obviously, really. How cute are those kittens?

We've also gotten the proof of Hyssing's 3rd place in Mango Minster!
How cool is that?
Now it's early in the morning and we're all watching the Norway - USA curling match. Both teams are playing rather poorly, really, but Norway is finally appearing to be picking up. Yay!

... so she picked me up and put me on the table next to her???
It had fresh laundry on it, so it was nice and comfy.. Still.. I have a feeling this wasn't the right response.. Hmmm..

Isn't my AnnieBelly just the prettiest puggie ever?

PeeEss: We also heard some very sad news that Wally and Penny, Poppy and Patches' Dad crossed the rainbowbridge yesterday. We are very sad, but confident that these two great guys can keep each other company until they're reunited with their families. If you haven't already we suggest you drop by and give them some purrs and kisses as their families are very sad right now.

Meet my Dad!
I was going through some old pix and found these. You all know Hyssing's dad, and those of you who've been around for a while will remember my mom - Coco. This is me and my dad at a pug speciality show many years ago. I was young and skinny, now I'm as good looking as my dad. BOL!
Me on the left, my dad (Hugo) on the right.
Me and dad - sniff, sniff.
My dad getting ready.
Oh - and Mom went to Sweden and did some shopping yesterday and now I've got plenty of food. She got some for the kitties, too. And a big bag of chicken wings. I got one yesterday and one today - nice big ones. Yum!

The video made Mom rather leaky, but we hope you will take a few minutes to remember those who died and send some comforting thoughts to those left behind. We also want to remind you all of the people in Haiti and how we must not forget them once the number of news broadcasts go down.
Here http://s651.photobucket.com/albums/uu233/bushfireyv/?albumview=slideshow is a slideshow of pictures our friend Linda took.

The DWB sonnet
There is this great community
Where Dogs With Blogs are Friends
And cats and hammies in Unity
Share laughs that never ends
I am a Pug who snore and fart
like all the pugs I know
Here I meet friends who share their art
Like oil on canvas and pee on snow
When days are Gray and I am blue
I check my favorite Blogs
Where every day there's something new
In the lives of friendly dogs
And if my kitty brothers are bad -
I know that Khyra's help can be had!
Hah.. Does this make me the PoetPug?
