Okay guys! June is fast approaching and soon we'll be moving. We are so very excited! PA has his final exam on Tuesday and on Wednesday we start moving. Hopefully we'll manage in a day or two. One of the things that was on our to-do list was a new car for Mom! We'll be living in the middle of nowhere, so they'll both need a car to get to Uni, work and so on.. So - Mom went and looked at a couple of cars today, and tomorrow she's going to pick up her new (old) car. Nothing fancy, but hopefully it'll get her to and from the train station and us to and from the vet, puppy classes and so on.
Now we're going to relax!

I Wuw my Wubba
After just over two days in the city I have become pretty much a pro at getting in and out of the elevator and walking across the strange metal grid floor outside the main entrance. We had to walk a couple of laps around a parked scooter last night, but it turned out it wasn't scary after all! And the first time we walked past the door to the under ground parking garage when it was going up it was a little noisy.. so Mom made me wait until it came back down and then we went to investigate it. I really get to see a LOT of new and exciting stuff.
Kisses and nose bites,

Beach fun
Here's a little video of Gummi on the beach. By the time we get back up to the lake this will all be under water. Do you think Gummi will enjoy coming along on the boat? I'm pretty sure he will.

Did anyone say socialization?
Hello everyone!
After almost a week up by the lake, we returned home today. Mom and PA are working this weekend, so we had to come home. It won't be home for much longer, though. We'll be moving very soon!
Having a little one around means a lot of socialization.. Like the tarps in the yard up by the lake (they cover up the firewood).
Walking on top of the strange, crinkly surface:
Walking underneath it while it's blowing in the wind..
He really is a confident and tough little guy, and so far the only thing that really scared him was when PA played the guitar. BOL! But he kept playing until he calmed down and relaxed, we'll make sure he hears the guitar again soon to make sure he learns it's no problem.
A bonus with the various socialization is that it tires him out! BOL!
Have a furry happy weekend, guys!

There - and back again.
Hi guys!
The little one is sleeping, so I have time to show you some of the pictures from our trip this weekend. We didn't only pick up Gummi, we saw some other animals too!
This dear sent us off, she was in the field as we were leaving.
We saw FIVE moose on this trip. First this one and his buddy (who was across the street - we have some pix of him too, but they're not as good), then two more and finally a single one.
What's up with the whole paparazzi thing!? Huh?!
We arrived at the cottage in plenty of time and got the barbecue ready. I got stuck under this chair. Mom made fun.
Tussi and I shared a nice dinner.
Looks like they've burnt them, right? Actually they were in a marinade, which is what colored them so much. They had just been put on.
After a night of board games (and PA watched a bit of the Eurovision song contest..) we woke up the next morning and prepared for our departure. We finished in plenty of time, and had time for a little walk at the dam before picking up Gummi.
This guy flew past and we saw a lot of cranes, too.
Below the dam - most of the water is let through the power plant which is to the right of this picture.
Quite a lot of cool rock formations!'
Hard to see, but that black blob in front of the arrow is a fishie! Quite big, at least compared to the fairly smallish ponds.
Towards the end of the trip I let Gummi crash in my crate with me!
Pretty?
We think this shot is pretty cool, with a bit of sun and the heavy rains on the way.
Hope you enjoyed coming along on my trip!

Stupid Hip Dysplasia
Okay guys, I have some not-so-great news. A little while ago I had to take a trip to the vet. After slipping on the last little bit of ice outside I started limping and after that I started walking funny. Mom thinks it looks like a partial paralysis. So off to the vets we went - I love going there!
Here I'm on the table and have just gotten a shot that makes me sleepy. But first it makes me sick, so Mom had to wipe up vomit from the table and floor.
Then I fell asleep. Mom was a bit upset - she asked if it was really necessary for me to have this shot and the vet said it was impossible without it. As it turns out it would have been easier if I had been awake. So - extra monies, extra sickies and extra trouble. Yeah!
This is the new collar I got for my birthday btw!
There is my x-ray.. Mom didn't dare go in there and take a proper picture of it, hee hee.. The x-rays showed that I have a medium degree of hip dysplasia with calcifications plus a little calcifications between two vertebrae. The vet thought that was why I am walking funny - that it hurts and that I try to compensate. But I've told Mom it doesn't really hurt at all, just if we walk a little too far (I'm only allowed to walk a little to do my business and sniff some pee-mails, no long walkies). And, although the calcifications are probably the reason why a fairly small accident made me walk this way, we're thinking it might be something neurological as well. But the vet man might be right. Mom tends to be skeptical after a few cases of misdiagnoses in the past, but that doesn't mean they're always wrong! He prescribed Metacam, which is a NSAID (non steroid anti-inflammatory drug) - so we're thinking that IF my funny walk is due to inflammation - swelling - causing pressure on some of the nerves to my hind legs this anti-inflammatory drug might still help. But - if we see no improvement we'll get a second opinion.
I hope the drugs work, or that we find a new one that does. It's a little boring to only get short walkies. But at least I'll soon have a little brudder to keep me company. He won't be able to take long walkies since he's a baby, so we can walk together.
Kisses,
B
