Flat Bajas Goes to Copenhagen part II
After the boat docked in Copehagen Flat Bajas set out for the city centre. How 'bout a guided boat trip along the canals?
Flat Bajas - ready to go!
These are some seriously pretty old boats! This canal is, among other things, used as a museum for old wooden boats.
Some of the bridges were pretty low!
This submarine is a museum! (Starting to see a trend here old boat=museum?)
The military ground.. uh.. water.. was off limits. Notice the cool old rig that used to get boats up onto dry land when necessary.
This is the worlds smallest, functional full rigger - and is used as a school ship.
A house boat district. There were some really cool house boats - including at least one with a "garden" with several fruit trees and so on (that useless Mom didn't manage to get proper pix of).
We'll save the last pix for a third post so as not to drown you. BOL!

Flat Bajas Goes to Copenhagen part I
While I stayed with Auntie PA and Mom took Flat Bajas along on Crown of Scandinavia, heading for Copenhagen. (That's the capital of Denmark to those of you who skipped Geography classes.)
Looks like he found the bed to be comfy enough!
The Oslo Opera House (taken from the cabin window awaiting departure).
They even provided him with a fruit basket.
They somehow forgot to take him along to dinner, but the next morning he joined them on deck to watch as they arrived in Copenhagen.
It was a leetle windy.. BOL!
Pretty with the sun coming up behind the city/wind mills.
I'll show you more pix of their adventures tomorrow!

Silly Food Dispenser!
25 October, 2010
Manic Monday!
Hi guys!
Guess what - I'm going to visitate my Auntie! That's going to be so much fun! I haven't stayed with her since she got her very own food dispenser over 1,5 yrs ago. I hear they take some time to develop, but hope he's working by now. He was a leetle bit scairt of me when we met at Christmas, but I hope we can be friends now. (And if not - I recommend throwing food as a great defense.)
Since Mom and I have to pack and leave here's another slide show. I chose puppy pix of myself, so feel free to oooh and aww as much as you want. I won't tell.
Kisses,
Bajas

Sunny Saturday!
Okay.. so we're not sure how the weather will turn out today - but here's a sunny slideshow!

Snow + Me + Boo Boo!
The snow was still here this morning!
On a less fun note I've got some boo boos on my chest/tummy.. Mom initially thought they might be caused by my harness rubbing, since I'd only been using the harness (and walking a lot) for a while.. So no harness + washing and putting ointments on and stuff.. And they seemed to heal up nicely. But last night Mom discovered there was a new one, and nastier than the others. We're not sure they are related, I might just have cut myself on something while running around. But she put a shirt on me to make sure I didn't get any dirt in it while lying down (so much for her housekeeping skills, huh?) It was quite tender last night and is much better today, but she's promised to run out and get me some more ointment and stuff and if it doesn't clear up in a day or so she'll take me to the vet. I surely hope for the vet visit, but Mom's wallet would prefer if we didn't go.
Here's a blurry shot of me in my (Mom's) shirt:
They're just phone pix and she was having some lighting issues, so they're quite blurry. (What do you mean the subject needs to sit still???)
This one was quite cool, though, IMHO.
Kisses,
Bajas

Snow! (And a little sadness.)
Okay -I know some of you will be jealous now! When Mom and I went for our nighttime walkie - we discovered it was snowing. I made Mom go back out to capture a few shots to prove it - in case it's not there tomorrow morning for me to pose in it's snowy glory.

We also wanted to make a little tribute to our feline buddy, Lamborghini, who was pts today. Send some comforting thoughts to his wonderful mom, Guro, will you? He was diagnosed with hip dysplasia a while back, and although diet changes gave them some extra time together the pain just became too much and it was time for him to cross the bridge. Run (pain) free, buddy! He didn't even get to turn 5..
Here's a little slideshow his Mom put together. Lots of great pix, and you can see he was loved by human, feline and canine alike.
Purrs and kisses,
Hyssy, Virus and Bajas

Walking Wednesday!
Wanna come for a walk with me along the river? (Turn your volume down, it's noisy with all the water!)

We love fall!
Mom and I went for a nice fall walkie!
Hi there, bus! Can you please take us to the forest?
Yahoo!
Off we go! If you look closely you can see the traffic light where we got off the bus in the middle of the photo, where the path begins.
We love crisp, sunny fall days!
Sniff, sniff, sniff!
Big smiles!
It's lots of water in the river!
Best I stick to the middle of the bridge, I'm not such a great swimmer. BOL!
Walkies makes me this happy:
Smiles,
Bajas

Helpful Saturday.
Mom and I are helping PA in his new apartment. A house is not a home without pug(hair). I brought along this handy little bed and a chicken leg to make myself at home.

Exam time..
I've got an exam tomorrow. That's my excuse for why the boys and I have been MIA lately. It's my biodiversity class. It's really interesting - but it's a LOT of species to recognize. We've made flash cards with all the species.. and just plants are around 170, then add fungi, mosses, lichen, marine and terrestrial invertebrates and vertebrates... We need to identify the species (including their phylogeny, where they are placed in the tree of life, and there are a LOT of levels for some of them) + know where they live, special adaptations and so on.
But the real point of this post is to show this shot I took yesterday.. I had a little giggle at my view.. that's what it's like when you're a biology major..

Saturday on the Shoulder
The furry best place is to be on someone's shoulder. Mom and PA refer to it as "the ferry" that ferries me around the house (and sometimes even outside).
PeeEss: Maggie and Mitch had trouble seeing my adventuring pix - they are showing up here without trouble. Lemme know if anyone else have trouble, okay?
Purrs,
