Feeling better

Easter 2004

Thanks for all your well wishes. Bajas is certainly feeling better. He's not been happy with me, though, as he didn't get any food for over 24 hours. LOL! He got a tiny amount of canned cat food (that I opened for the kitties since I forgot to thaw some meat for them this morning) mixed with boiled rice. Unless something happens overnight he'll get a proper meal in the morning.

I'm finally getting into transfering my pictures and documents to the new computer (well.. new in January or something). Might be the reason why I'm looking into the old pix. I took my qualifying test at work yesterday. It's always scary, even though I know my job very well. We have to re-qualify at least every 18 months. So now I'm good to work for another year and a half. ;)

Worried Wednesday

Hi guys!

Just wanted to ask you for some good vibes for Bajas - he's got an upset tummy and isn't feeling too great. (And for him to show symptoms of discomfort is saying someting.) I hate it when the boys are sick.. I believe I know the cause of this and hopefully he'll feel better soon (he's got some meds and I gave him some calming foods this morning anticipating this) - if not we'll go see the dogtor in the morning.

I can hardly believe he'll turn nine next friday - and certainly want him to feel super in plenty of time for his birthday. Once upon a time..

Momday Morning

We're having a quiet Monday morning here at the WriggleButt Residence. Audiobook, a nice breakfast and all four of us on the couch. Bajas snoring, Hyssy purring and Virus watching the birds outside.

There are new seeds in the greenhouse. Hopefully we'll see them sprouting soon.

The Tsoi Sim was about to flower (the flower buds tasted just like broccoli).
We had them in a lovely stir-fry with oystersauce and garlic.

After a four week "internship" at a high school as part of our pedagogics class it's back to regular programming. After being sick for so long with migraines, fever and then the ear infection I plan to reduce my number of classes (I take double the amount I need, so cutting one or two is no problem). All the classes have obligatory papers that have to be written soon, and I don't think I can manage writing 5 big papers right now.. It's a bit annoying, but I only took these extra classes for the variation, so even if I don't complete them they've served a purpose. (I *would* have gone mad with only the pedagogics.)

Have a great week everyone! I hope the boys will get around to post, read and comment more now that our lives go back to normal. ;)

Snuggly Sunday

We are having a quiet Sunday. The quality of this video is pretty poor, but Mom wanted to show how Hyssy usually "helps" her while on the computer.

And here's a video of Virus and me - he thought my ears needed a little cleaning. Hrmpf..

Sleepy Saturday

Ssssh! Don't wake Virus!

Mom told me we're getting a visitator today. I look forwards to that. We're going to snuggle with auntie Anna on the couch and watch a Midsomer Murders episode and probably play some Mario Kart. I can help her with that! I'm very talented that way. But first Mom needs to tidy up a bit and get everything ready. The dessert is already chilling in the fridge and the plan is peanut curry for dinner. There might not be enough herbs in our "garden" since PA and Mom had the last of our home grown oriental veg for dinner yesteday, and added extra herbs to the sauce. We concider the "can we grow veg in the green house while the chilies grow" a success! So next winter we will try again. Starting the indoor season much earlier will probably give us a lot more veg, too. Now the greenhouse is too full of other stuff to have room for them. We have several pots of lettuce, though, and the herbs of course so Mom is still able to grab a snack while working in the greenhouse!

Happy weekend everyone!
