Happy Thursday

Photobucket
Can you see I'm a happy little guy?

Mom handed in her assignments last night and today and apart from a few last comment in her final lab report (Mutant characters on Drosophila Melangaster and Aribidopsis) she's got nothing more to hand in. Now of course her first EXAM is on Wednesday.. But she's just so happy to be free of any distractions. And I'm happy too - 'cause she's probably going to be better company from now on! She also got her grammar assignment back today and passed so now she's qualified to have her exam!

Here are some view shots from one of our last walkies..

You can actually see the fjord in the distance!

These were SO huge! One of them would probably be half the length of my leg. (And don't come here implying I'm not a big and macho guy!!)

Hope you've all got great Thursdays too!

Wordy Wednesday

Here's my exciting news:
So what is this? It's my very own BUS CARD! Well.. not only for buses, really, but all public transport within the city. Since Mom and PA won't be going up by the lake for a while because of all their exams she had the brilliant idea (she's got her moments, I suppose) that we should enjoy more of the city. And by city we don't really mean city - we mean the green stuff. We have a nice city with plenty of parks and - even better - surrounded by forest. Unfortunately all dogs have to pay on public transport within the city - even little ones like me - so we have usually stayed around where we live. Now we can go everywhere! Yay! We can also take a bus somewhere and walk back home or walk wherever we feel like and just find a tram or subway to get back home if we get tired.

Here are some pix from our first trip using my very own BUS CARD! Yay!

We hop off a bus - and see this.. Not bad, huh?

Maridalsvannet
I approve of the grass!

Maridalsvannet
Flowers, too!

Maridalsvannet
This funny looking building was the last one we saw for a while.

Maridalsvannet
Pretty, pretty. This is the same river we walk by down where we live. We're just further up.

Maridalsvannet
Plenty of water, allright! This river run from the lake we get our drinking water from.

Maridalsvannet
A few joggers and a few dogs - and plenty of calm!

Maridalsvannet
I didn't need a drink - but at least the water was calmer here, so it was possible!

Maridalsvannet
A little rocky patch..

Maridalsvannet
Then we got all the way up to the lake! Nice, huh? It's all fenced in, however, being drinking water and all. Then we walked back down on the other side of the river!

Since this I've also walked around the lake Sognsvann again - that I showed you just over a week ago. And I've been going with Mom more than I otherwise would as it doesn't cost money to bring me on public transport. I love my card. Yay!

Yahoo!

One happy WriggleButtMom here. I've gotten my philosophy essay up to almost maximum length - meaning I'll have something to cut away when reviewing it on Thursday. I intend to let it rest until then. The grade on this thing isn't important, all I have to do is pass it. So I'll be working on my NHS essay tomorrow. And for the rest of today I'll do some of my other stuff and let my brain have a rest before I cook it completely. Later today I'll go se Les Miserables with my sister and dad, so I really will have a change of scenery. Lovely!

And since I'm sure you were hoping for something more fun than this I'll share some pix, too.

The little note says "help me!!" This bear was in the fridge behind the counter in the Burger King restaurant Virus and I spent hours in after the show in Bergen last fall. I've got no shame, so I took a picture with my phone.

And an even better one:

Sweet, sweet bored Bajas. Now who can resist that silly face? I sure can't. (He got a second dinner last night. Couldn't let the poor guy starve, now could I?)

Hope you're all doing GREAT! We'll be back on track soon. Bajas have exciting news and all.

Funny Momday

Okay.. So I'm completely out of it writing my assignments. One - on the history and present challenges of the NHS (Britain) - is due Wednesday night and the other - on the environmental ethics bulls**t - is due Thursday at 2PM. I'm not likely to be concidered "alive" until after that (when I can start enjoying cramming for my exams.. LOL!)

Anyway... Since my beloved Peter Singer apparently said the line between sentient and non-sentient life can be drawn somewhere between shrimp and oysters I felt like brushing up on my oyster knowledge.. And found this..

It was just soo funny! I hope you enjoy it, too!

Busy busy weekend

Photobucket
Hi guys! I hope you're all well. I'm posting a couple of old pix today of me waiting for midnight walkies with PA. I'm all ready in my reflective gear. I've left for Emmitts house to party while his mom is out of town. Luckily Mom is so busy with her assignments she didn't really question my initiative to enroll in his "obedience school" and I just took some of my savings to book Virus and myself tickets. So far we're having a blast! I promise to get back to posting and commenting as usual when I'm back home. ;)
