All wrapped up!

We wrapped our Christmas gifts last night! Thought we'd share some of our Christmas stuff.
Wrapped in brown paper, with home made tags and string. Pretty, huh?
Mom's beloved scissors.. Grandpa (her dad) brought them from Vietnam. He usually does scientific research there once or twice a year (he's an entomologist).
Most of the tags were blue this year - so they got blue ribbons. With the happy snowmen on the tags they didn't really need any more decor.

Some of the supplies.. LOL...

Tags, tags..
God jul = Merry Christmas
She also made some cards..
Virus was pretty sure he was wanted in this picture...
Simple cards - folded paper! Mom added a lighter paper inside to write on.
A snowman got on a card, too!

I hope you all have a great weekend! Mom is working this one, so it'll be mostly sleeping.. ZZzzZzZZzzz...

How creative, artistic and thoughtful gift packages, your mom has big heart and great talents.
Bajas, my mom saw the scissors, she said it looked like one that her grandmom once had. Yep, it's from Vietnam! How interesting your grandpa's research work!

hi bajas!
what a wonderful post! i love all of the tags and presents! isn't it fun to have them all wrapped?
we buy and collect presents all year for friends and family when we see the perfect thing. they sit on a shelf until christmas time and then we start wrapping. when it is all done, we feel very accomplished.

How festive! Mom doesn't wrap. Mom hates to wrap. Think tissue paper and a plain bag from the dollar store. Think recycling the bags and new tissue paper. It still bats and crinkles pretty good, though!

your packages look great! Did you draw the pictures on the hand made cards? Those scissors are fabulous! Are they old? They look handcrafted, what a treasure.
