Safely home, but...

... our broadband router had died, so won't be on line for a few more days. Very annoying, but we really should have remembered to disconnect it before leaving. It was most likely killed during a thunderstorm. Oh well - our plants had grown nicely and we now have to use our time getting the wardrobes up and fill them and various shelves and cupboards, rather than getting up to speed on line.

More adventures and...

...Gummi went for a swim. It's a shame we don't have a video of it to show you. He jumped into a salt water pond with lots of algae- probably assuming it was grass or something... He went all the way under water and had to swim a bit to find a place to get back up. Good thing his coat is short and dried quickly.
Today is our last day here - tomorrow we're going back home.

Mountain lion?

...or just Virus the Explorer? We went out to one of the little islands today and Virus got to come along and play mountain lion. Now we are going to relax with Midsomler Murders on TV.

What?

What? What do you mean "Did you try to eat a slug and get all sticky"? Of course I didn't. What makes you ask such silly questions?

'sploring

Hi guys.

Just a quick email post to let you know we arrived safely and are having a good time. Virus, Gummi and I have been doing some serious 'sploring today on one of the nearby islands. Well, the two youngsters most of all. I have been here several times, of course, so I'm more like their guide. Hyssing isn't too fond of new places, but he's been outside around the cottage today. It's on its own little island, so it's a pretty safe place to let the kitties wander.

Kisses, Bajas.

Thanks!

Silly Hyssing was a good boy and came back inside as soon as the sun came out. He doesn't even like being outside very much, so we were afraid he would be cold and miserable and maybe even sick, but he'd just been miserable. Sorry, Hyssy, but that was your own choice!

On a positive note - Mom went and bought us plenty of yummy meatables!

She let me into the back of the car when she got home - a standing buffet!Photobucket
6 times my weight in food isn't bad! Hee hee..

Photobucket
Yeah!

This is the pre-made raw food we used to eat in the past, but we haven't eaten much of it the last three years since we didn't have a car or a big freezer. We'll go buy it from time to time now, though, as it's cheaper than making our own food.

Tomorrow we're going away for a week, so we'll still only be online sporadically for a while longer.

Kisses,
B

Come inside, Hyssing

Hi guys.

We are finally online at our new home, which is great! we've even gotten the satellite dish up and everything. On Monday we are heading for our cottage for a week. Only one problem. Silly Hyssing is outside and refusing to come back inside. He's hiding under this building and won't walk back to the house as it is raining. We're unable to be out with him all the time, and we are afraid he'll be sacred off or chased by wildlife or another cat. Please send go inside vibes please.

Kisses, Bajas.

Two good friends in the sun

A very good SUNday. And - the Internet Man is supposed to arrive on Wednesday. Keep your fingers and paws crossed that we're not too far into nowhere to get broadband... :)

Video Wednesday

Here are two videos of our recent adventures!

Ignore the jumpy zoom, but otherwise it's fun to watch Virus watch the birdie (who is mad at him for being around his nest).

Moving

We are on the move and will mostly be off line for a while. We're e-mailing this from mom's phone. Don't know how soon we'll have Internet in the new house. As you can see we brought all the plants along. And I got into the kitty wheely crate to make sure I wasn't forgotten.

Kisses, Bajas.
