So - a week ago Mom took me to a new Vet! It was a great place - lots of people and doggies and everything. I stayed behind to keep the vet-people company for a while, but then I got so very sleepy (even more than today) and when I woke up they had stolen a few of my teeth! Mom said they were no good anyways so it's nice to have them out. I also got all my teeth cleaned and polished so now my breath is fresh like a sea breeze!
Mom says a large percentage of adult dogs have inflammation in their gums and/or teeth and most go untreated so I'm happy she had mine checked. Plus meeting old and new vet people are always fun! She said now we also have a clinic we know when we're up by the lake in case of emergencies.

We're happy to hear you found a good vet, Bajas. I had to have some of my baby teeth pulled out when I was little, because they just refused to come out on their own. I hope you are recovering quickly:)

I like my vet too!! She is very nice and all of the people gives me lots of loves and kisses!!! Plus they tell the momma to give me more treats =)

what cute pictures of you! i am so glad you had your teeth taken care of! emmitt had the samething done when he was about 6 and i think it really has helped to keep him so healthy.

You got the laughy gas, huh? My V-E-T is also a doggie dentist and he is always looking very closely at my toofers. Good dental care is important.

Glad you found a nice vet to care for your teeth. Phantom had to part with one of his teeth in the spring when he had his cleaned. Can you smile for us in an upcoming post so we can see your pearly whites?
