Snuggle, snuggle...

We're still in snuggle mode! Doesn't this just look GREAT?

Oh - and Mom got a couple of questions about the Kindle so will write a bit more about it.

Hi guys! I must say I totally love my Kindle! I got a book cover for it today (I was stupid and didn't order a cover at the same time as the Kindle because when we order for more than a certain amount we have to pay taxes on top of it all) and now it's all cute and red. Hehe..

My first Kindle actually didn't work right and after a few freezes it just died on me (just the screen - I could get all my stuff from it onto the computer via the usb cable which was great), but Amazon handled the return absolutely hassle free and so I have no problem recommending it. There are lots of free books available and I love that I can have files altered to kindle files for free (if I get them delivered by e-mail rather than whispernet) if I don't want to read them as PDF or .doc. I can also do this if I buy Norwegian e-books and want to read them on the Kindle. The integrated dictionary is a great tool for me when reading old English books as there are many terms I'm not familiar with (or I know the word, but it has a different meaning). I've also used the bookmark and notes-functions a whole lot when reading for school

One of you mentioned the Barnes & Noble one and I checked it out and it looked pretty similar - a bit thicker and heavier and I'm guessing the touch screen is what causes it to have a bit shorter battery life. That probably wouldn't matter much most of the time, though, unless you travel a lot. It looks pretty, but I'm not really fond of touch screens so I might have preferred the Kindle anyway... Since I'm not in the US I don't have the option anyways.

Since I travel a lot and have a tiny apartment I think I'll just love it more and more... My 85 year old grandpa said he'd like one for Christmas next year since reading regular books are hard for him since his sight isn't so good any more.

Oh and P - if you're reading this.. We need a Mama Pajama tells a story Kindle edition. ;)

Oh we are not ready to enter into the age of the kindle. Mainly because momma says part of the fun of reading is feeling the pages, the weight, and smelling the book smells.

Love your snuggling photos. I sure hope you three are going to enter Mango Minster this year.

Slobbers,
Mango

Mommeh loves her Kindle, too! The adjustable font size is a great feature.

We don't have a Kindle yet but think it is a great idea. Right now I can download books to read on my phone, so I can use it, but I have so many regular books to catch up on first that I don't need any for a long time.

And the snuggling pictures are so cute! We hope you are staying nice and warm that way!!

My Mom has had a kindle for a while now and says she loves it more than her iPhone!!!! Happy New Year. Sorry we've been so quite...but we've been keeping up. Was wondering if we might borrow a photo for one of our sleepy sunday guest spots in the future???

Lots of Licks, Ruby

Everyone looks so cozy! Mom says she likes the idea of the Kindle, but is going to stick with traditional books for now (surprising since she is a bit of a tech geek)- something about being able to see how much she has read and how much more is left to be read.

Hi Bajas! You look so snuggly warm. Mom says you look so soft and clean. Have you had a bath lately?

Dad offered to buy Mom a Kindle but she's way too old school. I don't know why she likes lugging all those books around but she does. It makes traveling very interesting indeed.

You all look so snuggly warm there. It is really cold here.

Mom is thinking about dropping some hints that she wants a reader for her birthday. She actually thinks it would be great for Dad too because of all of his eye issues.

Thanks for telling us about it.

Snuggling with a cute black shiny doggie looks fun! We get under the covers with mewmie and have sleeping bags and heating pads for when she's not in bed, hahameow
